The Copasetic Flow sites are a collection of articles and applications related mostly to ham radio, but also to physics, math, programming and web development.  I hope you like it.  I’m having a lot of fun with it.

About Me

My name is Hamilton Carter, amateur radio callsign KD0FNR.  I’m a PhD student in Physics at New Mexico State University.  I’ve played around with amateur radios and electronics since I was 10 and built a cyclotron at my high school.

I like bacon and eggs over easy.  I have a motorcycle; it’s super classy and makes me look cool.  I live in an airstream with my girlfriend, dog and cat.  Soon there will also be a child.  (My girlfriend wrote most of the preceding, but refuses to take responsibility for the proceeding.) I tell bad jokes:

One day a woman walks into the vet’s office with a limp duck.  The vet looks at the duck and says “I’m sorry ma’am, but your duck's dead.  The distraught woman demands a second opinion and after awhile, a cat examines the duck.  The cat sadly shakes its head and walks away.  When the vet walks back into the examination room and repeats, “Ma’am, I am sorry, but your duck is dead”.  The woman, now deeply in denial demands a third opinion.  A Labrador wonders into the examining room a bit later, walks up and sniffs the duck.  Bowing its head in respect, it leaves the room.  The vet returns one last time and compassionately, but firmly reiterates, “Ma’am, your duck has passed on.”  Finally accepting facts, the grief-stricken woman looks up and asks, “How much do I owe you?”

“That’ll be $150 Ma’am”

“$150 to tell me my duck is dead!!!???”

“Well, Ma’am, the office visit was only $30, but the cat scan was an additional $70 and the lab fees were $50 on top of that”

TaaaDaaaa!
